Scheduling

We guarantee all time slots, and arrival within 15 minutes of the scheduled lesson. For Clients on a long-term contract, we offer a firm commitment for a time slot each week for the length of the contract, and find that consistency is critical. We understand, though, that emergencies happen- on both your side and occasionally with our staff. Any changes in scheduling will only be made upon approval and consent of client, and we endeavor to give as much notice as possible in the case of any issues with transportation or other problems.

Cancellation Policy

Client Cancellation:

Any Client will be subject to a termination of our tutoring relationship after two (2) appointments cancelled without twenty-four (24) hours notice. Client will be notified in writing upon the second cancellation. In addition, we reserve the right to fully charge clients for any cancellations made within that 24 hour window.

Pre-Paid Contracts

Cancellations are not refunded. If Client must cancel an appointment, a good faith effort will be made to reschedule a make-up appointment for the same week. Make-up sessions cannot be scheduled for dates beyond the current week.

Tutor Cancellation

Should the Tutor need to cancel the contract or a session, Client may be refunded by check or Client may reschedule for the same week. We will never charge you in the case of a Tutor cancellation. Outside of emergencies, any Tutor cancellation within that 24 hour period will result in a discounted lesson.

Client Contract Termination

If Client needs to terminate a long-term tutoring contract prior to the last contracted session, Client must provide Tutor with one-week written notice. Telephone calls are not considered sufficient notice. Client will still be responsible for remaining sessions scheduled during Client’s final week. Refunds will be issued by check fourteen (14) business days from date notice was received if session was prepaid, and refunds will only be given on a case-by-case basis. Lesson credits do not expire.

No-Show Policy

Clients who are not present at the pre-determined location when Tutor arrives or who are more than fifteen (15) minutes late are considered No-Shows. If Client is a No-Show, he or she is still responsible for full payment of the tutoring session.

Additionally, Clients who arrive late will only be tutored for the remainder of the scheduled tutoring session, or extended wholly subject to tutor availability and additional costs relative to the time extended.
